Mick the elk lives in a swamp. He trots by the dock and sees ducks. "Quack, quack," they go. Mick likes to clack his hooves on rocks. He sees a black sack in the muck. "What is in it?" he asks. Mick picks up the sack with his rack. A frog hops out and yips. Mick jumps back, quick as a flash. The frog croaks and Mick laughs. They sit by the swamp and watch the flock of birds fly. Mick feels happy in his swamp home.

Mick sees a duck. A rock is on top of a duck. The duck is stuck. 

Mick will help the duck. He kicks the rock but falls.

He wants to get back to his pack. But he wants to help the duck.

Mick has a plan. He will pick up a stick.

With the stick and a bit of luck, he will get the rock off of the duck.

The duck quacks. It is not stuck! It gets back to its flock.

Mick is glad. He can go back to his pack.
