Remy was great at finding carrots and his stash was the biggest in the grove, hidden under a pile of leaves.

One brisk morning, as frost still clung to the grass, Remy discovered his pile had been disturbed. The leaves had been dispersed, and many carrots were missing. It was a disaster!

Remy felt a sharp pain and was disappointed. "Who disturbed my perfect hiding spot?" he whispered, his nose twitching with distress. He felt disrespected.

With an unhappy look, Remy hopped along the path, searching for clues. He saw some fresh footprints that were not his.

Following the footprints, he felt his anger disappear as interest took over.

The tracks led to his neighbor, Marvin, a gentle mole. Marvin was outside of his tunnel, looking quite discontent.

Remy, ready to dispute over the stolen carrots, stopped as he saw Marvin’s sad eyes. He walked towards Marvin.

I am sorry, Remy," Marvin started, his voice low. "I was so disheartened by the lack of food in my home. The winter was too harsh, and I was desperate.

Remy’s anger and discomfort from the stolen carrots melted away. He realized that his dislike for sharing had blinded him to his friends' needs.

With a small smile, he nudged a carrot toward Marvin. "Let’s distribute these evenly. No one should feel dismissed or disconnected from help," Remy said.

Marvin’s face lit up with gratitude. "Thank you, Remy. I was wrong to take without asking, but your kindness now is a big discovery for me about what it means to share. I should not have disrespected you like that. I'm sorry. Will you forgive me?" He asked.

"Yes of course," said Remy. "I should not have kept all of the carrots for myself. Thank you for helping me disengage from my unkind ways." From that day on, Remy made a new discovery. He learned that sharing not only helped his friends but also made him feel happy and more connected to his friends in the forest.
