Cooper in the Marsh
In a lush marsh, full of thick mud, tall grass, and big, old trees, lived Cooper the raccoon. He made a nice home in a cozy den close to the marsh.
Cooper lived in a snug den under a huge oak tree. He had a good view of the marsh and could spot bugs and fish from his den.
One bright moonlit night, Cooper left his home to find food. He took his trusty old map that led to the best spots in the marsh where he could find crisp, crunchy bugs.
'Yes it is!' said Cooper with a grin. They loved the sounds and smells at night in the marsh.
Cooper followed his map to a pond, the moon was glowing bright. The pond was active tonight.
The lily pads in the pond were in full bloom and the pond was booming with fish and the buzz of insects was all around.
Then Cooper took a short nap under a bush. The cool night air made it a perfect spot to rest.
Cooper yawned and then he washed his paws in the pond, to groom himself. He was tired from his night hunt and crawled back to his den.
He slept soundly in his den and dreamed of his next night hunt.
