Nora's Day
Nora the koala lived in a lush forest.
She loved to roam around the forest roads, sniffing the air.
One sunny day, she wandered off. She found a strange road in the forest.
She followed the road, curious to know where it led.
The road led her to the edge of a coast that overlooked a flowing river.
Down by the river, she spotted a boat floating. She had never seen a boat before.
She went down the rocky cliff of the coast, down towards the river and the boat.
She slowly climbed down the cliff. She did not want to fall.
Finally, she made it to the edge of the river. The river was flowing slowly. Nora swam up to the boat.
The first thing Nora noticed was that the boat was not just any boat. It was a rowboat. The boat was loaded with a bunch of yellow corn.
"I wonder who all this corn belongs to," wondered Nora.
Nora also spotted a pillow and a red coat in the rowboat.
Then suddenly, the boat began to float down the river. Nora became worried. It was starting to rain. She was getting further from her forest home.
After a little while, the rain stopped. Then, a rainbow appeared. Nora followed the rainbow down the river.
The river ended at a meadow. Nora climbed off of the boat and sat in the meadow. She admired the rainbow. A toad came up and gave a loud ''Croak.'' It hopped down a path.
Nora followed the toad down the path. She walked for what felt like miles. The path led back to the forest!
Nora was grateful to be back in her forest home. She was happy to see her pals and boasted about her adventures.
