Tundra Playtime
Neil, the reindeer, loves to play in the vast tundra. Neil's greatest joy is to leap and bound in the snow. He uses his antlers to break the ice to find food. He always obeys his instincts.
Neil's neighbor, a snowy owl, watched from a distant tree. 'Hey, Neil!' the owl hooted. 'Let's play a game!' Neil agreed and they started a game of tag.
They played until the sun started to set. Neil was tired but happy. 'That was great!' he said, his breath turning to smoke in the cold air. 'We should do this again tomorrow.'
The next day, they played again. This time, they invited more friends. A family of mice, a gang of playful pups, and even a swift fox. They all had a straight race across the tundra. It was a great day.
As the sun set on another day, Neil felt a sense of contentment. He had managed to bring together so many different animals for a day of fun. It was a great achievement. 'This is the life,' he thought as he drifted to sleep under the starry sky.
From that day on, Neil and his friends played together every day. They would race, leap, and play in the snow. It was the best time of Neil's life. He was glad he had such great friends who shared his love for the tundra.
