Zuri: The Happiest Hyena in the Savanna
Zuri, the hyena, was always the maddest in the morning. She snapped at the birds and the bees and swatted at the wildflowers.
Zuri was also the biggest hyena in her troop. She was even bigger than the grown males.
Zuri planned to take a shortcut to the watering hole today. She didn't want to run into the birds and the bees again.
She padded softly through the savanna, trying to avoid the wildlife. But the savanna was bustling with activity.
Zuri spotted a group of birds in the distance. She decided to go the other way, but she slipped and plopped into a muddy pool.
Zuri was now the wettest hyena in the savanna. She shook off the mud and continued on her way.
Finally, Zuri reached the watering hole. She was the hottest and thirstiest hyena, so she took a big gulp of water.
Zuri was no longer the maddest hyena. She was now the happiest and most refreshed hyena in the savanna.
Zuri decided to take the long way back to her troop. She even stopped to watch the birds and the bees.
Back at her troop, Zuri was the happiest hyena. She even started humming a happy tune.
From that day on, Zuri was no longer the maddest hyena in the morning. She was now the happiest hyena in the savanna.
The end.
