Alan and the Mice

Alan hurried across the plains, rapidly looking for berries.

His long neck swayed as he applied force to reach the berries on the tree.

He was hungry, so he ate the berries and they tasted salty.

Full and satisfied, Alan looked at the sunset and smiled.

The next day, Alan spied a family of mice in the distance.

It was strange so he chose to get a closer look.

Alan went up to the mice and they looked up at him, surprised and feeling uneasy.

But Alan was kind, and soon the mice no longer felt uneasy.

Alan and the mice became the best of buddies and they played together all day.

As the sun went down, Alan said goodbye to his new friends and hurried back home.

At home, he reflected on his day and smiled, he was the happiest he had ever been.

Alan could not wait to see what he would discover tomorrow.
