Dolores, the dinosaur, played with her sisters by the river, running faster than them all.
Dolores was the biggest, and she loved to lead the race.
She loved splashing in the water, getting wetter with each step.
Dolores planned to be the first to reach the end of the river.
Dolores slipped on a pebble and plopped into the river.
She got up, shook off the water, and kept running.
But Dolores was now sadder, she was no longer in the lead.
Determined, she picked up her pace, running faster.
Despite the setback, Dolores was the first to reach the end of the river!
She jumped up in joy, she was the winning dinosaur.
Dolores was now the happiest, she had won the race.
Despite the fall, Dolores had not stopped, and that made her a winner.
