Amari's Quest for Leaves
Amari, the giraffe, was the tallest and happiest in the plains.
She enjoyed the sunniest days, munching on leaves from the highest trees.
However, one day, Amari woke up to find the leaves on her favorite tree had all disappeared.
She spied around, but there were no leaves on the other trees either.
Amari cried out in worry, her heart full of fear.
She hurried across the plains, hoping to find some leaves.
But there was nothing, the trees were all bare.
She looked around, her eyes filled with sadness.
Amari decided to ask her animal friends for help. She went to the monkeys first and asked, 'Have you seen the leaves?'
The monkeys replied, 'We haven't seen any leaves, Amari.'
Amari then asked the birds, 'Have you seen the leaves?'
The birds replied, 'We haven't seen any leaves, Amari.'
Amari was the saddest she had ever been. Without leaves, she didn't know what she would eat.
But then, something rustled in the bushes. Out came a small tortoise carrying a bundle of leaves.
'I heard you were looking for these,' the tortoise said, handing the leaves to Amari.
Amari was the happiest she had ever been. She thanked the tortoise and went back to enjoying her sunniest days.
From that day forward, Amari made sure to share her leaves with all her friends in the plains.
She even carried some leaves over to the tortoise's home as a thank you.
And no matter what, Amari remained the happiest giraffe in the plains.
The end.
