Roy the Groundhog's Break from Routine
Roy, the groundhog, lived underground in a town called Southville.
From his house, he could hear the loud sound of the townsfolk above ground.
Every morning, Roy would go outside and greet the sunrise with a howl.
Then he would mow the grass around his home and head back underground.
Roy had a routine that he followed without fail.
He would wake up, howl at the sunrise, mow the grass, and then go back underground to eat breakfast.
On Sundays, he would take a trip downtown to buy groceries for the week.
He enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the crowd, and always found something interesting to buy.
One Sunday, Roy noticed a strange glow coming from an alley.
He followed the glow and found an old textbook on the ground.
Roy took the book home, curious about what it could be.
He spent the rest of the day reading and forgot to mow the grass.
The next morning, Roy woke up and was surprised by the sight of wildflowers growing where he usually mowed.
He realized that sometimes, it's okay to break routine and do something different.
From that day on, Roy decided to let the wildflowers grow around his house.
And every Sunday, instead of going downtown, he would sit outside and read his book amidst the flowers.
