Roonie, the kangaroo, woke up one day, feeling very blue.

He looked out of his window, to see the plains were gray.

His friend, the monkey, paid a visit to cheer him up.

Monkey tried to make Roonie laugh with a silly play.

But Roonie only managed a small smile, he didn't feel quite right.

Monkey decided they should go out for a walk, hoping the fresh air might help.

In the light of day, the plains didn't seem so gray.

Roonie started to feel better, his blues started to drain.

By the end of the day, Roonie was back to his normal, happy self.

Every time Roonie felt blue, he knew what to do.

He would seek the company of a friend and the light of day.

And remember that even on gray days, the sun would find a way.
