In his beak, he held a loaf of bread.

One day, Joe saw something unusual below.

It was a large, colorful rainbow crossing the sky.

Joe followed the rainbow with his eyes.

It ended at the edge of the orchard, near a meadow.

In the meadow, Joe saw a boat.

It was a rowboat, abandoned and grown over with weeds.

Joe flew down from the oak to investigate the boat.

He landed on the edge, causing it to rock back and forth.

Inside the boat, Joe found a map.

It showed a path leading to a hidden treasure.

Joe decided to follow the map.

He flew over fields, hills and a wide, flowing river.

Finally, Joe reached the treasure.

It was a pile of shiny, golden corn, his favorite treat!

Joe was so happy, he let out a loud crow.

He had a feast and then flew back to his oak, full and satisfied.
