Hugo's Rock: A Tale of Friendship and Nature
Hugo, the monster, lived in a dark cave.
He was quite large and his roar could be heard far.
Hugo had a friend, a bird, that lived in a tree near the cave.
Every morning, Hugo would roar to say 'hi' to his friend.
One day, Hugo found a strange rock in his cave.
It was round, smooth, and had a weird mark on it.
Hugo decided to roll the rock out of his cave.
The rock rolled down the hill and into a pond with a big splash.
The next day, Hugo went to the pond to see the rock.
He saw a starfish stuck to the rock.
Hugo reached into the water and gently pulled the starfish off the rock.
He put the starfish back in the water, away from the rock.
From that day on, Hugo visited the pond more often.
He liked to watch the starfish and other creatures in the pond.
One day, Hugo saw a turtle in the pond.
He watched as the turtle swam towards the rock.
Hugo realized that the rock had become part of the pond.
He was glad he had pushed the rock into the pond.
From then on, Hugo took care of the pond and its creatures.
And every morning, he would still roar to say 'hi' to his bird friend.
