The Hurt Bird
Javier, the lemur, wore a purple shirt.
He loved to surf on the forest's wide leaves.
One day, he saw a bird with a hurt wing.
He felt an urge to help the bird.
He slowly picked up the bird with his sturdy tail.
He returned to his hut to nurse the bird.
Javier's mother, a nurse, wrapped the bird's wing.
After a while, the bird could fly again.
Javier felt a burst of joy seeing the bird fly.
The bird chirped a song of thanks and flew away.
