A Monster's Car
Hugo, the monster, lived in a large cave.
He had fun with his red car.
One day, Hugo's car rolled off from the cave.
He ran after it but tripped over a rock and hurt his arm.
Hugo's friend, a bird, saw him fall.
She flew down to help him up and said, "Don't worry, we will find your car."
They searched high and low, near and far.
Finally, they found the car stuck in some tar.
With a big push, they were able to free the car.
Hugo thanked his friend. They returned to the cave just before dark.
Back at the cave, Hugo noticed his arm was still sore.
The bird told him to rest. She would watch over him.
By morning, Hugo's arm was feeling much better.
He was ready for fun with his pals.
Hugo learned that day that exploring can be fun, but also a bit hard.
But with a friend by his side, he could overcome any obstacle.
From that day on, Hugo always carried a kit when he went far from home.
And his car, he always kept close to his heart.
Because no matter what...
...Hugo knew he would have a friend to share his good times with.
